OC&C advises Aksìa on recent acquisition in the Agritech sector

We are pleased to congratulate Aksìa on their majority stake investment, through Aksia Capital V Fund’s, in Scarabelli Irrigazione and Giunti, Italian companies active in the production and distribution of products, components, and solutions for traditional and precision irrigation.

Scarabelli Irrigazione is a precision irrigation business which was founded in 1977, well known for their agricultural and ornamental irrigation turnkey solutions and high standards of engineering.

Giunti, founded in 1945, specialises in the manufacturing of irrigation pipes, components and accessories for traditional irrigation.

The Founders of both businesses have extensive industry knowledge and experience which has led to their growth, expansion and success.

The irrigation industry is currently rather fragmented, Aksìa’s investment will help to consolidate this industry. Aksia will focus on strengthening both businesses, leveraging commercial and manufacturing synergies between the two, expanding their product range and penetrating international and domestic markets.
