OC&C advises KKR on its investment in Zwift
Wednesday 23 September 2020 | NewsWe are pleased to congratulate KKR on their successful investment in Zwift, the global online fitness platform. KKR led a $450m minority investment as part of a consortium in a deal that values the overall business above $1bn.
Users of the Zwift platform interact and compete together by connecting the Zwift app with a bike trainer or treadmill to access virtual “worlds” which also offers formal training. The business launched in 2015 and has over 2.5 million accounts registered across 190 countries, positioning Zwift as a global leader in the at-home connected fitness market. The investment will power growth through software developments and a move into hardware to bring a more integrated proposition to customers.
We are delighted to have supported KKR on this transaction, building on a long-standing relationship with one of the world’s premier private equity investors. We bring extensive experience in personal fitness, gaming and consumer internet to offer unique insight into this business. Our global presence allows us to draw on local insight to offer the best possible outcomes for private equity investors.
