OC&C names James George as International Managing Partner
Wednesday 27 September 2017 | Press releaseToday, Wednesday 27 September 2017, OC&C Strategy Consultants announces James George as its new International Managing Partner.
James joined the business over twenty years ago, and has held a number of critical roles previously including leading the International Retail Practice. He has been selected as the new International Managing Partner by the Partnership, and takes up the role with immediate effect.
James will oversee OC&C’s continued move towards an international partnership model, from its historic model of franchises. The new model is proving to be highly successful, enabling OC&C to achieve above market growth year on year.
James George said:
“It is a real honour to have been selected as the next International Managing Partner, having joined the consultancy in 1996 and watched it go from strength to strength. I am extremely excited to be taking on this role at such a pivotal time for the business.
“I believe our model is founded on a really special set of values that deliver great impact to our clients and a unique proposition to talent. It is these values that are the bedrock for our great business 30 years in, and that will be the foundation for our exciting next phase of growth.
“As we look to the future, we are focused on growth and expanding our international partnership across the world’s largest markets. We do so on an increasingly robust foundation of offices who share a common vision and commitment to our values – and a great sense of optimism about our future journey together.”
In August, OC&C announced it was relaunching the French office led by a new senior team, including Philippe Pruneau, one of the founding partners, Henri-Thierry Toutounji and David de Matteis. The team has a wealth of experience across key sectors of expertise for OC&C, with a particular focus on Consumer, Retail and Private Equity work.
James George continued:
“I am committed to continuing to build a successful firm that achieves above market growth year on year, whilst maintaining the independent view and deep sector expertise valued by our clients. We are proud to work with 15 of the world’s 50 most valuable brands, who recognise and appreciate our ability to deliver bespoke strategies for them.”
James succeeds David Krucik.
