OC&C Strategy Consultants announces new Partner in Munich
Monday 22 May 2023 | Press releaseWe’re excited to welcome a new addition to our global partnership, based in our Munich office.
Lars Luck brings more than 25 years of experience to the firm, specialising in Retail and Consumer Goods, specifically durable goods. He brings a wealth of knowledge from both a consultancy and corporate management background.
Having spent 14 years at Roland Berger as a strategy consultant, Lars then ventured into the corporate world – working at Metro Group for three years as Group Strategy Director, before moving onto WMF initially as Vice President for Strategy and then as Managing Director running their retail and D2C e-commerce businesses.
Commenting on the new role, Lars said: “I am super excited to join OC&C and am deeply impressed by the spirit in the partnership and the strong team. I look forward to supporting retail and consumer goods clients particularly in digitization, growth strategies, D2C and corporate transformation.”
The appointment of Lars is the next step in our sustained growth in Germany since re-opening as an integrated office five years ago. He becomes the fourth partner in Munich, joining Christoph Treiber, Jan Bergmann and James McDonnell, alongside a rapidly growing team of talented consulting staff.
As part of the team, Lars will deepen our global expertise in traditional retail and the D2C space, and we’re confident his range of relevant experience will further strengthen our work in the sector.
We’re continuing to expand our presence in Germany, with considerable growth plans over the next few years. This appointment marks an important step in that journey.
Will Hayllar, Global Managing Partner at OC&C stated, “We’re delighted to welcome Lars to our Partnership. His combination of razor sharp intellect, deep experience and a passion for building the firm makes him a great fit with our DNA. We’re looking forward to working collaboratively together to support clients in Germany and beyond. This is the next step in our continued growth in Germany, where we see great opportunity for the high quality bespoke strategic advice we provide our clients.”
